Vital Communication has created this privacy statement in order
to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses
our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.
Use of IP Addresses
An IP address is a general representation of where you are coming
from by domain name or number (i.e. aol.com, yourfirm.com, or a
numeric equivalent like 206.27.160.244). We collect aggregate information
site-wide, including anonymous site statistics, by logging IP addresses
and/or domain names. This helps us diagnose problems with our server
and administer our Web site. We do not link IP addresses to anything
personally identifiable. This means that a user's session will be
tracked, but the user will remain anonymous.
We review and discard the information in some cases (e.g. IP address
logs for file transfers), while in others we may use the information
to tailor our users' web experience, or generate anonymous statistics.

Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your
hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information
such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you've visited.
But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information
you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk
or read cookie files created by other sites. Vital Communication
uses cookies when you log in as a Message Center user.
We do not store passwords or any sensitive personal information
about you in any cookie file. We use your user ID to identify you
in our database and allow access to areas of our site restricted
to Message Center users.
